Industrial emulsions contain petroleum derived bitumen, surfactants, stabilizers, and sometimes acids or amines that are not food grade and can be harmful with skin contact or ingestion. They are designed for construction performance, not biocompatibility, and SDS documents typically warn against prolonged contact and inhalation of spray mist. Even if a consumer product misuses similar words, industrial bitumen emulsions have different chemistry, contamination controls, and exposure risks. Technical research should filter out non construction queries by focusing on standards, test methods, plant equipment, and residue specifications.
