Suitable surfaces typically include clean concrete, masonry, and properly prepared substrates where a smooth coating is desired, such as foundation walls or protected roof assemblies. Conditions should be warm enough for water evaporation and should avoid imminent rain or heavy dew until the film has broken and cured. Porous or dusty surfaces may need priming to improve adhesion. Non fibered emulsions generally prefer thin multiple coats rather than one heavy coat to avoid skinning. Always confirm suitability for below grade contact and any exposure to sunlight if the coating will remain exposed.
