What performance characteristics differentiate Geochem rubberised bitumen emulsions from standard grades?
Rubberised emulsions generally target higher elasticity, improved crack resistance, better fatigue performance, and improved waterproofing behavior compared to standard emulsions. They may also provide higher viscosity and better film build, which changes spray behavior and curing time. The downside is increased sensitivity to shear, temperature, and storage conditions. For differentiation, look for quantified elastic recovery, softening point shifts, adhesion under wet conditions, and field durability data.
