Uniform application depends on producing consistent fan pattern, droplet distribution, and rate control. Many systems use fan spray nozzles or spray bars designed for emulsions, with pressure set to achieve stable atomization without excessive misting. Too low pressure produces streaks and poor coverage, while too high pressure increases misting and premature breaking. The right setup is typically validated by calibration trays and spray pattern checks. Nozzle material must resist abrasion and chemical exposure, and nozzle sizing should match desired application rate at the vehicle’s operating speed.
