Validation should cover stability, application behavior, and residue performance. Core tests include binder content, viscosity at reference temperature, sieve residue, storage stability, demulsibility or breaking behavior, particle charge, and pH. For road grades, include coating and adhesion tests with local aggregates, breaking time windows, and residue tests such as penetration and softening point. For waterproofing, include film formation, water resistance, adhesion or peel, flexibility, and aging or heat stability. A pilot run should confirm repeatability across multiple batches and after transport simulation.
