Deep black stability is mainly controlled by pigment type, dispersion quality, and the binder’s resistance to oxidation. Use carbon black grades designed for UV durability, with wetting and dispersing aids that prevent agglomeration and streaking. UV resistance comes from a combination of polymer modification, antioxidants, and sometimes UV stabilizers, plus adequate cured film thickness. Solids content, particle size distribution, and proper cure are critical, because under-cured films fade faster. Always validate with accelerated weathering and field exposure panels.
