SBS modified bitumen membranes are applied in asphalt or bitumen modification processes through a multi-step procedure. Initially, the SBS polymer is blended with bitumen to enhance its elasticity and temperature resistance. This modified bitumen is then heated and applied to the substrate using a torch or hot air, ensuring proper adhesion.
