Fiber-containing emulsions need sprayers designed for higher viscosity and the risk of fiber clumping. Typical modifications include larger or more robust strainers that resist plugging, wider-orifice nozzles, and a pump capable of moving the material without shredding the emulsion while still handling fibrous slurry. Spray bars may need agitation or recirculation loops to keep fibers suspended, plus short hose runs and gentle bends to prevent accumulation. Calibration must be revisited because flow meters can read differently with fiber-laden fluids. Cleanout access and purge procedures become mandatory between stops.
