Tanks should be insulated and sized to avoid long residence times in cold seasons, with gentle agitation or recirculation designed to minimize shear. Conical bottoms or proper outlet design helps prevent sediment buildup from fillers. Temperature control is important: keep product above the supplier minimum storage temperature but avoid overheating that can destabilize the emulsion. For freezing risk, use heated enclosures, heat tracing, or indoor storage, and protect piping and valves. Include sampling ports, level and temperature sensors, and cleanout access. Avoid contamination with cement dust, salts, or incompatible residues because they can trigger breaking and line plugging.
