What applications require SS-1H asphalt emulsion and what are its breaking characteristics?

SS 1H is a slow setting grade designed for mixing and systems that need longer working time before breaking. It is commonly used in slurry seal, micro surfacing style mixes in some specifications, tack or prime related blends where extended wetting is needed, and some cold mix applications depending on local standards. Its breaking is intentionally delayed to allow coating and mixing, then it sets as water leaves and droplet stability collapses on contact with fines or aggregate chemistry.
