Scaling requires robust preblending and high shear dispersion equipment, plus temperature control to manage viscosity and prevent degradation. Typical setups include heated storage for binder, a rubber or polymer feed and wetting system, high shear mixers or mills, metered dosing for emulsifier and additives, and a colloid mill or disperser designed for the target particle size. Transfer pumps must handle higher viscosity without excessive shear that breaks the emulsion. You also need filtration, packaging or bulk loading, and a lab capable of testing residue elasticity, viscosity, stability, and crack-bridging performance.
