A pilot plant is required when you plan new formulations, polymer or rubber modified grades, unknown water chemistry conditions, or when the local aggregates and climate create high performance risk. It is also valuable when selecting between equipment vendors or when your business case depends on tight QC and low rejection. Pilot trials let you validate droplet size control, stability, breaking behavior, and residue properties using real raw materials. They reduce CAPEX risk by proving throughput, energy consumption, cleaning and changeover effort, and the actual OPEX needed for consistent compliance at scale.
