Commissioning should verify utilities, heating control, dosing accuracy, mill performance, and safe operation under the full grade range. Quality validation includes producing trial batches and testing binder content, viscosity, sieve residue, storage stability, particle charge compatibility, breaking behavior, and residue properties relevant to the target standard. You also validate repeatability across multiple batches and after changeovers between grades. Field trials should confirm sprayability and bonding at realistic temperatures and surface conditions. Finally, document SOPs, calibration records for flow meters and dosing pumps, and an acceptance test protocol agreed with the buyer.
