Require a documented quality management system, batch traceability, and evidence of routine in house testing aligned with the specification used in your contracts. At minimum, manufacturers should provide batch certificates with residue, viscosity, pH, sieve residue, storage stability, and particle charge results. For modified grades, require performance tests relevant to your use such as cohesion, elastic recovery, or adhesion metrics. Ask for calibration records of lab instruments and sprayer calibration guidance if they support application. Also verify SDS completeness and regulatory compliance for transport and handling. Practical audits of plant controls and lab capability often matter more than paper certificates alone.
